Let's take a minute to talk about "Our Community" as it applies to the Chamber. We (our member businesses) are spread across both Oswego and Jefferson counties. Our community starts in the west at the shores of Lake Ontario, to the Redfield (Tug Hill) area in the East. We start in Oswego and follow the Seaway Trail all the way to Henderson Harbor in the North.
Our community is served by all the area's natural resources, including the Salmon River, which is renown for it's Salmon Fishing, but also brings us the Salmon River Falls, and is home to the Fish Hatchery. The Tug Hill region is the western gateway to the Adirondack mountains and receives the greatest annual snowfall east of the Rockies. Lake Ontario offers us wonderful boating, scuba, and fishing activities. OK, NOW throw in some of the most beautiful scenic areas in the country for camping, hiking, fishing,...... What do you have? One of the most exciting destination spots in our country.
